I arrived in Tallahassee with a mission in mind. That last place was buggy and I felt like they were crawling on me (not really). Anyway I got parked at the Tallahasse RV Park which is really nice and pretty with tall pine trees, grass, etc. I stopped on the way and made my big purchase of defogger! So I gave Duncan a bath in the shower which worked quite well and got my laptop, food and cooler and we waited outside while the defogger did its thing. I feel so much better and there aren’t any little critters flying around. Life is good!
Bill arrived and was pretty pooped from his ride. It was a lot of rolling hills for both us coming from where ever the hell we were. I’m glad we’re here for 2 days so he can have a rest. The weather is nice and not too terribly humid.
Yesterday Bill did a fabulous job of driving us around Tallahassee on Rocket. We saw the canopy roads which are very scenic but then you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. We hit the mall for a little while to kill time and went to see Water for Elephants. We liked it but our cynic son said it was just like the Notebook!
We had a great dinner at Harry’s Bar and Grill. Let me tell you Bill has lost 10 pounds and eats everything. He downed the big dessert with relish! See Pics
We’re on the road again and off to Steinhacher or some such place and it looks like we might get some rain today. I looked at the Florida map yesterday and we go all the way South on the West side of Florida and back up on the East side of Florida. Good Lord, couldn't we have just gone across it?? We'll never get out of Florida. Probably be eaten by alligators!
Take care, Neita
