Ruby and Rocket Day 1

Day 1 of Bills Big Ride - Thank you all for giving us a big send off yesterday for our bicycling tour of the US.  Bill left around 8:30 with several riders and well-wishers.  After a long day of riding in the heat (almost 100 miles), he arrived in Globe around 5. Tired but excited he's back on the rode today.  My brother and I left around 11:30 and found our spot at the beautiful Apache Gold Casino RV park around 2:30.  Tim and Gary made it to Superior biking then caught a ride the rest of the way.  The heat was a killer! We all had a birthday dinner for Tim last night then just relaxed.  They made me stay up till 9 as I could have died at 7!  Today it's cooler and about 75 miles to Thatcher. I think Bill will have a tailwind so hopefully a great day.  Later!
