Well we are in a better place today thank goodness. We listened to trains all night and Bill imagined people walking around. It was pretty desolate, windy and a little scarry. We had to change our route today because of the wild fires around Alpine. Instead of heading there, we are in Ft Stockton tonight. Tomorrow we will be on track and head to Sanderson, TX. The Parkview RV Park in Ft. Stockton is not so great but it's not near the Interstate or the Railroad tracks and the wind isn't blowing so a big whoop! Bill rolled in around 2 and it was a pretty nice ride even though he had to follow the Interstate. Tomorrow is shorter as only about 60 some miles. He's icing his knee so hopefully that won't give him trouble in the days to come. Not much happening here so hopefully we can get a good nights sleep. Duncan's back in the dirt! He's happy. Thanks for your posts. Miss you.
Hi Neita, glad you had a better day today. that last night sounded scary! Hope you have an even better day tomorrow. xoxo

Oh Neita, I know Texas can suck, but it gets better on the east side. I keep thinking I'll get a map out and see exactly where you are and where you are going. Do you have one up somewhere so we can track you? Enjoy the wine, just make sure you don't run out in a dry county or on a Sunday. We're with you, in spirit at least. - Nola
