Day 81 with Ruby and Rocket

I arrived in Kingston, NH just afternoon after a fairly uneventful drive. I so look forward to those! It’s warmer here and not as many trees in the campsite. I’ve had a day by the pool.
Yesterday in Boston was great fun. We rode Rocket a couple miles to the train station and then took the train in to Boston. Our neighbors at the campground said they had a great DUCK tour so we signed up for that and were not sorry. It was fun and we got to see a lot.  Reminded me of our DUCK tour in Seattle!!

Then we walked around the Marketplace and saw the Old North Church where the signal was given to Paul Revere about whether the British were advancing on the ground or on the water. The church is still active today along with the original pipe organ.

We then made our way to Hanover Street and the Italian Restaurant area. We dropped in to Mike’s Pastries which is famous and of course made a purchase. Then made our choice of one of the 100 Italian Restaurants for dinner. Really Great! Of course we had to go back to Mike’s for a little treat so we could take our original purchase home. Hopefully my clothes still fit tomorrow!

It was a good rest day for Bill as I think he needed it. Tomorrow we’re off to Kennebunkport, Maine and I’m sure George and Barbara will be having us for dinner!  Take care -
