I had to find my own way to Canandaigua KOA Park as Gabby wasn’t having the address. Things went pretty well – only had to stop once to check the map and that just happened to be by the Erie Canal. So I was sitting at a pullover by the road and up rides Bill. It’s weird how you have no idea where you are and this person you know rides up! Of course I had to hear the Erie Canal song again last night. I think he sang it for Casey on the telephone. This is what I live with!
Anyway, I found my way and got set up and in rides Bill. We quickly get going on Rocket as this is wine country and we like to investigate. We went to two wine centers and just let me tell you Sonoma and Napa are safe! We did buy one bottle as it was pretty OK but they do like their sweet wines. One of the wine centers was the New York Culinary School and Wine Center. This was a beautiful facility and you could observe the classes going on. I wanted to join!
It was pizza and movie night. We sat outside for a while waiting for our pizza. This is a busy place with lots of things to do for the kids. So different from yesterday when no one was around us. Every day is an adventure!
Bill left early this morning as he has about 110 miles to go and we’re having company today. Our good friends, Kim and Lindy, from Scottsdale are visiting family in Canada and are coming down for the day to see us. We’re so excited to see them and catch up on news. I’m busy cleaning our little nest which should take about 15 minutes at the most. There is something to say about small houses!
Take care – we’re off to the KOA in Niagara Falls
